Apple ARKit

What’s ARKit?
With ARKit Apple introduced its new Augmented Reality framework running on iOS11.

Markerless tracking
ARKit uses Visual Inertial Odometry to track the environment by fusing camera sensor data with CoreMotion data.

True scaling
The combination of these two inputs also allows for true scaling without any reference data like other marker trackings.

Google ARCore

ARCore Overview
ARCore is Google’s platform to create Augmented Reality apps for Android devices.

Motion Tracking
allows the device to track its position relative to its environment.

Environmental understanding
in order to detect the size and location of surface like floors and tables.

Light Estimation
makes it possible to adapt augmented content to the real light conditions in the environment.

Microsoft HoloLens

The Microsoft HoloLens offers a unique Augmented Reality experience. As a Microsoft HoloLens developer, ViewAR lab works on Augmented Reality solutions for international enterprises which include 3D-configurators which can be used collaboratively, AR-instructions using object recognition, 3D-data computation and holographic visualization of content for the construction industry.
