We take the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains which personal data we process when you visit this website or contact us, why we do so, on which legal basis, for how long, and which rights you have. We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG).

2. Visiting this website

Server log files

When you open the website, your browser automatically sends information to our web server. The following data is stored temporarily in server log files: IP address, date and time of the request, the page or file requested, the referring website (referrer), browser type and version, and operating system.

We need this data to deliver the website, to ensure its stability and security, and to detect and prevent attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the secure and reliable operation of the website. The log files are deleted after no more than seven days, unless an incident requires us to keep them longer as evidence until it has been resolved.

Hosting

The website, including its images and the product video, is hosted by a service provider on our behalf. The provider processes the data listed above solely on our instructions under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR).

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking tools, and it does not display advertising. We do not create user profiles. If we introduce such tools in the future, we will ask for your consent beforehand where required and update this policy.

Fonts

The fonts used on this website are hosted on our own server. No connection to external font services such as Google Fonts is made.

3. Demo requests and contact

If you request a demo through the form on this website or contact us by email, we process the data you provide: name, company, business email address and, if provided, phone number, area of application, products of interest and your message. We use this data only to handle your request, to prepare and arrange the demo and for related follow-up communication.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries). Fields marked with an asterisk are required; without them we cannot process your request. Providing further data is voluntary.

Form submissions are received and stored by a service provider acting as our processor under Art. 28 GDPR. We do not use your data for newsletters or other advertising without your separate consent and do not sell it to third parties.

We delete your data once your request has been fully dealt with and no further contact is expected, at the latest 24 months after our last contact, unless a contractual relationship arises from it or statutory retention obligations (for example under tax and commercial law) require us to keep it longer.

4. Recipients and transfers to third countries

We only share personal data with the service providers named in this policy (hosting and form processing), who act as processors or independent providers to the extent described above, and with authorities where we are legally required to do so. Where data is processed outside the European Economic Area, this takes place on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission (in particular the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework) or of EU standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 GDPR).

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR);
  • have inaccurate data corrected or incomplete data completed (Art. 16 GDPR);
  • have your data erased (Art. 17 GDPR);
  • have the processing of your data restricted (Art. 18 GDPR);
  • receive your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and have it transmitted to another controller (Art. 20 GDPR);
  • object at any time to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR);
  • withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal (Art. 7(3) GDPR).

To exercise your rights, simply send an email to office@viewar.com.

If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). In Austria, this is the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.

6. No automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

7. Changes to this policy

We update this privacy policy when our website or our processing of personal data changes. The version published on this page applies.
